Trojan Marketing Group
Trojan Marketing Group is a student-run, full-service, pro-bono marketing agency at USC. We are storytellers creating fresh and innovative marketing campaigns for businesses and nonprofits across the U.S., including clients such as the American Cancer Society and the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.
TMG has been the most valuable professional and personal growth experience of my college career. I became a more intentional designer, then a leader with a grip on handling high-pressure deadlines and crisis control, managing expectations and results, building organizational culture and efficiency with 60+ members, and communicating effectively with our clients.

Key Work Highlights – At a Glance
In this past year, I worked with my director team to quickly adapt TMG operations to a fully-virtual setting – client engagement, account meetings, and our formal pitch night with industry executives. On a weekly basis, I provide constructive feedback for account pitches and support teams in strategy formation, along with ensuring seamless client communication and weekly planning for professional panels, workshops, and semester timelines.
I collaborated with our Creative Guild team to reinvision and relaunch the TMG brand and website to enhance our professional image and showcase our experience.
With the events of the Black Lives Matter movement over the summer, we formed a TMG for BLM team to create educational resources that amplify lasting and necessary conversations in the USC community and beyond. As we acquired 4 clients for the school year, we kept social impact top of mind by providing our services to public sector institutions, local businesses, as well as Black and female-owned businesses.
Finally we also reviewed 400+ student applications and invited a new class of TMG members at an 8% acceptance rate (down from 10% year prior); some of the best and brightest at USC.

TMG Logo Rebrand & Website Relaunch
Over the course of Summer 2020, myself and a team of 15 reimagined how TMG would look, feel, and live. Below is a taste of our work, and the full site can be viewed at trojanmarketinggroup.org.

TMG for Black Lives Matter
As storytellers, TMG is committed to creating conversations that last.
By focusing on Accountability, Allyship, and Anti-racism, our TMG for BLM team researched and created educational resources for topics on BIPOC Mental Health, Public Policy with an emphasis on the LAPD & Voting your Values, White & Non-BIPOC Conversations, Media Bias & Microaggressions (my specific focus and research), and Black Art. We released our resources on our Instagram @usctmg and our website, creating impact on our community by averaging 700+ impressions per post.
One of our most shared posts on Racial Bias in the LAPD, was sent through DM 100+ times, bookmarked 50+ times, made 760 impressions, and reached 270+ non-follower accounts. Some additional posts can be found below.

Past Work
As a designer in my first two years in TMG, I was a member of the Lué by Évolué account my sophomore year. Évolué is a Beverly Hills based skincare brand with notable clientele like Emma Watson.
The account was extended into my junior year as VP, so not only did I design and build strategy for the campaign pitch deck, I also worked in Account and Project Management capacities to successfully secure funding from the client to produce a made for social campaign #MyLueMyWay. By effectively managing the account from planning to post-production on budget, on scope, and on time, our campaign of 5 short form videos (see right for continuous reel) was released by the client on Facebook and Instagram, generating 37K+ combined views.
